Davis is primarily a landscape artist who believes the term “landscape” has a broader meaning than just a depiction of a natural scene.  Viewing a landscape can give us a sense of a time and place where we can experience joy, sorrow, nostalgia, or hope.

 

There is mystery in the Natural World.  A mystery that we, as human beings, belong to.

 

Currently, Davis paints with acrylic on canvas and occasionally experiments with mixed media.
