About the Gallery
Located in the heart of downtown Melrose in north-central Florida, the gallery is a cooperative established in 1998. Housed in a beautiful early 1900s historic building, the gallery features work in a variety of media by Member and Guest Artists with monthly shows by Featured Artists. Group Invitational shows are held about twice per year.

Monthly Art Walks are held in conjunction with other downtown galleries and businesses. Held on the First Friday of each month, they also serve as the opening reception for the current Featured Artist. Shows change each month or so. Work by Member Artists changes about every two months or as it sells. All work shown is available for purchase and benefits the gallery.

Participating Artist Membership
Melrose Bay Art Gallery is a co-op of artists, all of whom share a voice in making decisions and managing the business aspects of the gallery with the goal of creating a unique fine art experience for our visitors and patrons.
Membership in the gallery is restricted to about 16 artists because of limited space and changes only when a current Member retires from active gallery membership. An artist who is interested in becoming a Member must be willing to work rotating front desk shifts, take on added responsibilities of running the gallery, participate in First Friday festivities monthly, and pay quarterly dues. Member Artists pay a greatly-reduced commission on sales of their work.
Participating Members comprise the core of the gallery. Artists interested in applying for Membership should fill out the Membership Application and send it in an email along with samples of your work or your website link to melrosebaygallery@gmail.com. You may also mail the application to PO Box 36, Melrose, FL, 32666 or drop off your materials at the Gallery. Use the Contact tab if you have any other questions.
