I have been carving and painting wood for sixty years more or less.  It seems to work the best for me.  Most of my work is created from cypress.

I am happiest when in the woods or a swamp.  Since I live in Bradford. County, I am close to both. Hopefully, my work reflects where I live.

I am a Vietnam Veteran and have come to terms with that.
