After a long career as an architect, I am now retired from the University of Florida and able to focus my energy on my art full-time. Initially, my passion for art started in high school with the assistance of my art teacher who submitted some of my artwork in a national competition that culminated in its publication in a book.
Currently, my work focuses on painting landscapes that evoke emotion drawn from Plein air studies and painted in my studio in a representational, impressionistic style. Additionally, I am also interested in watercolor and printmaking.
My wife and I are avid naturalists that enjoy birding and our home is a Certified Wildlife Habitat. I also enjoy fly fishing in the North Carolina mountains.
